June 25th 2019 marked a special day in the province of Manitoba and Bulk Container Group was proud to play a part in the First Annual Lilac & Lace Luncheon in support of the Nellie McClung Heritage Site in Manitou, Manitoba.
Providing dry storage for the Heritage Site through a donated 40' container has allowed Barbara Biggar the Co Chair of the Nellie McClung Heritage Site the ability to store important artifacts and switch out other important historical memorabilia providing additional space to showcase new artifacts within homes that Nellie McClung started her work from in 1901. So much of what Nellie McClung accomplished as a teacher, best selling author, speaker and champion of women's and human rights took root in and around Manitou where she lived for almost 20 years. Bulk Container Group is extremely proud to be associated with this event and are honored to help both the community of Manitou and the Province of Manitoba in their efforts to promote the incredible contributions of this inspirational Manitoba Canadian woman. "A young company already showing signs of maturity with a generous donation to support the storage needs of Nellie McClung`s Homes of Manitou, Canada. We cant thank you enough, Bulk Container Group, for supporting the legacy of a national champion of women's rights" ~ Barbara Biggar - Co-chair, Nellie McClung Heritage Site
Special thanks to Ray Kamm, because of him BCG is associated with such a great cause.
